This is the cleanest Custom Color Left-Handed pre-CBS Strat I’ve ever seen, and probably one of the cleanest Custom Color pre-CBS Strats, lefty or righty, on the planet! True pre-CBS, with all date codes from 1964:

The condition is amazing; just a handful of small nicks/small scratches. Even the sides and bottom are in beautiful condition(please see pics); when is the last time you saw a pre-CBS Strat that wasn’t dinged up on the sides/bottom? Vibrant, no-fade/no greening Lake Placid Blue finish, almost no fretwear(just the slightest wear on the 1st fret only), back of neck is perfect. And has that perfect Strat weight of around 7 1/2 lbs.
A 1964 Lake Placid Blue Fender Strat holds special significance in that it is Jimmy Page’s main Strat (yes, Jimmy did play other guitars than his 2 Gibson Les Paul Bursts), having used it to great effect on In the Evening from the legendary Led Zeppelin concert at Knebworth from 1979(on DVD #2 from the the 2003 Led Zeppelin 2-DVD Set). So if you’re a lefty and Jimmy Page fan, this guitar is absolutely a dream come true!
The Strat comes with the following original accessories: bridge cover, guitar strap, guitar cable, trem bar, and Lefty No Logo case. It also includes a Certificate of Appraisal from Gary Dick of Gary’s Classic Guitars, who also states that:
“This is the finest custom color Pre-CBS left handed Stratocaster we have ever seen! Near Mint!”
