Original Candy Apple Red finish(another one), mid-65 white guard, 100% original except for 5-way switch and pro-refret, OHSC, EXC condition, monster player!
This is a right handed Fender Jaguar in an original custom color Dakota Red, which is the rarest of the Fender Red finishes available in 1965. The hierarchy of Red finishes offered by Fender in terms of rarity was Candy Apple(the most common custom color overall),
followed by the intermediate Fiesta Red, and the rarest – Dakota Red.
The guitar is in VG+ condition, with a fair amount of finish checking, nicks, and some buckle rash on the back. The chrome finish on the hardware is in worn, but nice condition. The pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Includes a DARK Brazilian Rosewood fretboard.
