For his first Master Artisan offering, Leo Scala tinkered with period materials and techniques to iterate on the ‘58 Flying V as though the iconic design were brand new.
The Scala Master Artisan guitars almost never come up for sale. Leo Scala has built guitars for many noted players, including Slash and Richard Fortus of Guns N’ Roses, Phil X, Doug Aldrich (White Snake/Dio), Peter Thorn, etc.
This is one of only 3 Hybrid Super ’58 Flying Vs made by Gibson Master Artisan, Leo Scala, back in 2022. The nice thing about the Hybrid V is it offers the flexibility of both string-through body or stop tail.
This guitar is in Mint/As New Condition. Includes custom hardshell case with dark brown suede covering and large Gibson logo on the inside, plus a V headstock-shaped metal case which serves as the COA.
