This is an unmolested, no issues, investment grade 1966 Blonde Fender Tele with the desirable maple cap neck. This guitar is 100% original and includes original bridge cover, strap, Fender booklet, and OHSC. The case is as clean as the guitar with no separation of inner lining and both latches spring open!
One thing that really stands out on this guitar is it’s loud unplugged – maybe the best Fender I’ve had in this regard. And then when you do plug it in, it does not disappoint: an extremely lively and resonant vintage Tele!
The guitar has been inspected and set-up perfectly by Scott Freilich of Top Shelf Music, and plays and sounds fantastic!
Wiring is vintage deep rhythm with cloth wire, all solder joints intact, everything is as it left the factory – a true survivor vintage Tele(see pics). Has some very minor fret wear and fingerboard wear around the 1st three frets, and a few dings
and worming on the back, but overall a super clean and beautiful example.

The neck feels perfect on this guitar, slightly larger than the the early 60s Fenders I have: .88/1st and .93/12th. The weight is around 7.5 lbs – the ideal weight for vintage Fenders.
It’s very hard to find a vintage maple cap Tele in this condition and with this originality; so if you’re looking for an investment grade maple cap Tele, your search is over!
