1965 Gibson ES-335TD, 100% Original with OHSC, EXC, Lower Price!

This is a lefty 1965 Gibson ES-335, Sunburst(like the early 60s dark burst vs the the mid-60s ice tea burst), chrome hardware, Trapeze tailpiece, pat # pickups, reflector cap knobs, and the width at the nut is 1 & 9.25/16.

The guitar is in EXC condition with some mild checking. At some point, there was a right-handed pickguard installed, leaving 2 small holes(see pics), and the Orange Label is missing(as is not uncommon with ES guitars from the 60s). The impressed serial # on the back of the headstock is 519921.

Includes Original Hard Case with Marigold lining.

1964 Gibson ES-335TDC, Cherry, 100% Original with OHSC, EXC, Rare Lefty!

This is a Left Handed 1964 ES-335TDC. Lefty Gibson ES-335s from Gibson’s Golden Era (1958-1964) are very rare. Of course, the 58/59 DOT Necks are the most desirable. After that, I like the Cherry 1964 ES-335s due to the Clapton connection with the 1968 Farewell Cream tour where Clapton played his 64 ES-335TDC. This lefty is a factory Bigsby with the Custom Made Plaque and factory stud holes to easily accommodate a Stop conversion.

It has some wear, but is 100% original(except for pro refret) and is an extremely resonant and toneful guitar, as well as a fantastic player! Pot codes are 8th week 1964, neck PUP = 7.68k, bridge PUP = 7.63, Serial # 66204. Includes OHSC.

The back of the neck has been ever so slightly leveled, but it’s more cosmetic given the neck thickness appears unaltered and is very similar to my two 1964 ES-335TDCs and increases progressively from the 1st to the 12th fret. The thickness reads: 1st/.84, 3rd/.85, 5th/.86, 7th/.91, 9th/.92, 12th/.96.

I’ve only seen around 4 Cherry 1964 ES-335s in lefty. I currently own 2. The Cherry 1964 ES-335 will always be a very desirable vintage Gibson guitar with the Slow Hand connection. For lefties, it’s impossible to find one for sale, until now!

For Sale: 1963/1964 Fender Tele, Pre-CBS, EXC!

This is a factory Left Handed 1963/64 Fender Tele, Blonde finish, Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard, 100% Original, comes with an early 1970s Fender case.

Pre-CBS lefty Teles with rosewood boards are hard to find – much rarer than the Strats! It has the Spaghetti logo, clay dots, single-ply white guard, double-line Kluson tuners, moderate wear on the body with some buckle wear through the wood on the back.

It plays really well and you can actually bend the strings easily on this one. It has some mild fret wear, mainly on the first 3 frets. This Tele has the vintage deep-rhythm wiring, but the 3-way switch does hold the in-between neck and bridge PUP setting well. The Tele has a great weight at 7 lbs, 3 oz.

Comes with an early 70s Fender case(first case Fender issued after the 67-72 tail logo case).

2018 Gil Yaron Bone, Honey Drop, Near Mint with Extra Options!

For Sale is a very rare left-handed Gil Yaron Bone. The guitar is finished in Honey Drop/Lemon Burst. The guitar was purchased from Destroy All Guitars in 2018, which is the only authorized seller of Gil’s guitars.

The guitar is immaculate. There are just two or three very small/minute blemishes in the finish: one is a small scratch below the back plate and the other appears to be clear overspray. Even with the blemishes I would rate the guitar a conservative 9 – 9.5 / 10.
This one includes all of the upgrades Gil offers except the trapezoid inlays. See full specs list below.

Some of the plastic parts were switched from cream to black. The owner received the pickup rings and black switch tip from Gil. The knobs are after-market but they are Montreux Time Machine Collection knobs, which are very high quality and true to the ’59 specs. The bridge pickup cover and pickguard were removed, but all the original parts are included in the sale. There are also two custom made pickguards which will be included in the sale (made by Mike at QuickGuards).
