This is a custom order/Made-To-Measure Left Handed replica of Gibson CEO Cesar Gueikian’s personal 1959 Les Paul Standard (Burst), a historically significant Burst as it was the next Burst manufactured after one of the most iconic of Bursts: Greeny. Here are more details about Gemini and Greeny:

This is the only Gibson Gemini replica on the planet, lefty or righty, has the highest (and most expensive) degree of Murphy Lab aging, and it’s a Brazilian. If you want the Unicorn and most collectable of modern Left Handed high-end Les Pauls, this is it!

***SOLD*** 2023 Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul, 5A Quilt Top, Mint!

This is a special order (Made-to-Measure) Custom Shop Left Handed Gibson 1959 Les Paul Reissue (R9) from 2023, with a 5A Cherry Quilt Top, VOS, Nickel Hardware, OHSC with all paperwork. The build date was 9-22-23.

Some guitars are instruments as well as works of art – this R9 definitely fits both categories. 5A is the highest designation for the degree of figuring of the top, and this Les Paul is truly stunning.

Also, it is nearly impossible to order a guitar from Gibson with exposed double-white humbuckers, making this Les Paul even that much more rare.

And it plays and sounds as well as it looks – it’s the complete package for a Les Paul. It’s one of the nicest ones I’ve seen in over 40 years!

The top is made from Carpathian Spruce, indigenous to central and eastern Europe. While similar to Adirondack, it has a faster break-in period.

The neck is a soft, rounded “V” shape with thickness of .896 at the nut and about 1 inch at the 12th fret.
