1967 Guild Starfire IV, Rare Emerald Green, 100% Original, EXC Condition!

1967 Guild Starfire IV, factory Left Handed, in the very rare Emerald Green finish. Most of the Starfire IVs were Cherry or Sunburst, so the Emerald Green is considered a custom color for this model, available at extra cost as a catalog item; very rare for a righty, let alone a lefty!

This Starfire IV is a Semi-Hollow Body Electric Guitar, made in Hoboken, NJ, serial # EL-1803(1967), laminated maple body, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, original hardshell case. This model is similar to the Gibson ES-335, which also has the center block for enhanced sustain and reduced feedback. Unlike the Gibson model for the same year, the Starfire has the very desirable 1 11/16 wide nut, which Gibson stopped making in early 1965, when they switched to the narrow (and much maligned) 1 9/16 wide nut.

1960 Gibson ES-345TDC, 100% Original with 1959 Features, EXC Condition!

Fresh out of a private collection(my very own), this is an uncirculated 1960 Gibson ES-345TDC, 100% original in EXC condition with OHSC. This guitar has the highly desirable Factory stop tail piece. The Varitone assembly is complete intact.

This is one of only 252 ES-345TDCs from 1960, with serial # A33896. This ES-345 has been featured several times over the years on The Les Paul Forum.

The Cherry Red is perfect: not too light(reminiscent of orange) and not too dark(reminiscent of blood). Really stunning unfaded color with nicely figured wood underneath; this is the vintage guitar with absolutely the coolest vibe I’ve ever owned!

1968 Gibson ES-335TDC, 100% Original with OHSC, EXC Condition!

This is a true survivor, unmolested 100% original 1968 left handed Gibson ES-335TD in Cherry Red, with OHSC. It is also a one-owner guitar!

This guitar has been thoroughly inspected and expertly set-up by Scott Freilich of Top Shelf Music, a Gibson authorized repair center since 1979. Scott placed the year as 1968 after noting it has a one-piece neck. This would also be consistent with George Gruhn’s philosophy of dating a guitar based on neck date and/or specs. It also has no volute, no Made in U.S.A. stamp, and a no-logo Gibson case with the Marigold interior which was used by Gibson through mid-1969.

Left Handed 1960 Fender P-Bass, Holy Grail of Lefty Basses!

Original 1960 Fender Precision Bass – I have only seen one other left handed Fender Bass from the mid-59 to mid-62 slab board period. This represented the sweet spot of Fender’s Golden Era, when their instruments were consistently great!

Date Codes/Left Hand Markings:

Nice thing about this bass is it is well marked for dates and left handed special order status. And you always like to see consistency among all of the date codes, and this one is perfect for the year 1960:
